We’re very excited to bring you another edition of our “Natural State Series,” where we share the stories of our incredible Tune M1 owners. This month, we're featuring Mike Sheets, whose journey from the corporate world to the great outdoors is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Mike is originally from Virginia, but now calls Phoenix home. After working a high stress corporate job for most of his life and encountering health issues, Mike made the bold switch to work centered around taking people into nature. He is a guide for a company called Stellar Adventures where he takes visitors on Jeep, ATV, and 4x4 tours. On the side, he also pursues freelance web design, graphic design, and photography. His lifestyle shift has paid off; Mike has become an expert at sniffing out locations and routes that create wonder for the participants.
Mike’s introduction to Tune Outdoor was serendipitous. He attended the Overland Expo PNW with the intention of placing a deposit on a different camper. However, when he came across the Tune setup, he was instantly impressed and knew he found “the one.” The Tune M1 met all his needs, offering a level of convenience and functionality that was unmatched.
One of Mike’s favorite features of the Tune M1 is the bed platform design. Having everything in one place without the hassle of assembling a bed every night is a real attribute. The lightweight build of the Tune M1 also addressed his concerns about payload capacity, making it an ideal choice for his overlanding adventures.
For Mike, spending time enjoying the outdoors is essential. He finds it difficult to stay in one place for too long, and overlanding provides the perfect outlet for recharging his soul with nature, fresh air, and exploration. During his off months from work, Mike takes full advantage of the freedom his Tune M1 offers, traveling and discovering new places.
Mike holds a special place in our community as our first Tune M1 owner in the Phoenix area. He has graciously shown his camper to multiple community members, spreading the word about our company and products during our continuing infancy as a brand.
We’re proud to have Mike as part of our Tune Outdoor M1 owners group and grateful for his contributions to our community. His story is a testament to the transformative power of nature and the joy of finding the perfect camper to accompany you on life's adventures.
