We’re excited to bring you another edition of our "Natural State Series," where we spotlight the incredible journeys of our Tune M1 owners. This month, we're honored to feature Angelique Talbot, a passionate outdoor enthusiast with a remarkable backstory.
Angelique was born and raised in Alaska, where her love for the outdoors was instilled from a young age. In 2022, Angelique experienced the unexpected loss of her wife of 20 years, a heartbreaking event that became a catalyst for reflection and lifestyle change. She relocated to the Pacific Northwest, seeking a home base closer to family with access to nature for reflection during this transitional time.
With her motto "Go, See, Do" guiding her, Angelique spends weekends fly fishing, mountain biking, and finding peace in the wild. For the first time in over 20 years, Angelique is adventuring and adventuring and making decisions on her own. She had always shared life’s experiences and choices with her wife, and acknowledges that this new chapter has been a difficult adjustment. Through it all, the outdoors has been a place of healing for her.
On Angelique’s adventures, her trusty miniature dachshund, Cooper, is always by her side. Whether perched in the passenger seat or leading the way on a quiet trail, Cooper has become her constant travel companion. If you happen to run into Angelique on the road or at an expo, you’ll likely see Cooper by her side, helping her explore the best off-the-grid spots.
Since her installation in April, Angelique has spent over 60 nights in her Tune M1. Her rig is more than just a camper—it’s her daily driver, providing both utility and freedom as she embarks on weekend escapes and road trips. She appreciates being able to camp off the ground while still in a tent-like environment.
After working as a commercial pilot for over a decade, Angelique realized that her true passion was working with people. This led her to make a career pivot towards leadership coaching and organizational development for the FAA. She loves this fulfilling path where she can connect with others, often from the road, and apply her experience in a way that impacts lives.
We’re proud to have Angelique as part of our Tune Outdoor family. Her story is a reminder that even in the hardest times, nature can offer the peace and reflection we need to heal and grow.
