Solar power is one of the easiest ways to add more independence to your Tune camper. Whether you're spending a weekend off-grid or traveling for weeks at a time, solar can help keep your fridge, lights, fans, devices, and other essentials running without relying on hookups.

Tune Outdoor’s Solar Power Kit in a nutshell

Tune's Solar Power Kit now features Merlin Solar panels, a lightweight and flexible option designed for mobile applications. Depending on your camper configuration, Tune offers 275W panels for full-size M1s, a 215W panels for mid-size M1s, and 115W panels for both full-and mid-size M1Ls.

The flexible panels sit low-profile on your Tune camper's roof, making use of available roof space without adding the bulk of traditional rigid solar panels.

What can the Solar Power Kit power?

Solar power can help keep your camper's battery charged while powering everyday essentials like a 12V fridge, interior lights, ceiling fans, laptop chargers, phones, and other small electronics. How much power you get depends on sunlight, weather, time of year, and how much electricity you're using.

You can choose one or two panels depending on how much power you need. A two-panel setup provides more solar capacity for longer trips or higher energy use.

Durability: Merlin solar panels are designed for mobile and outdoor use and are built to handle the conditions that come with traveling and camping.

Weight: Merlin's flexible panels are lightweight, with panels weighing between 5.94 and 11.7 lbs., depending on the camper configuration. That keeps the added weight of your solar setup to a minimum.

Space Saving: The thin, flexible design of Merlin panels makes them a good fit for the limited space on a camper roof. They sit low-profile on the roof while making use of available space.

Improved Efficiency: Merlin panels have efficiency ratings ranging from 16.3% to 20%, depending on the panel configuration. The full-size M1's 275W panel has a 20% efficiency rating, the mid-size M1's 215W panel has a 17.8% efficiency rating, and the M1L's 115W panel has a 16.3% efficiency rating.
