Cab Access

Both cab access window options allow for easy access to gear between your camper and truck cab, plus the use of your rearview mirror if the rear awning panel is upgraded to tempered glass.

Features / Specs
Camper Doors

Unique to Tune, the larger the truck bed, the larger the side awning doors. The side and rear doors open with gas struts, providing all-directional truck bed access.

Each side awning door is lockable from the outside of the camper. The rear-access awning door can be locked from inside or outside of the Tune.

Both types of awning panels, glass and aluminum, work with the same hurricane hinge that allows for easy replacement with two sets of hands.

Features / Specs
Canopy

Our pop-up camper canopies are designed to handle harsh, high desert UV rays as well as torrential downpours. They have full seam-taped polyester with clean connections to the aluminum frame for four-season usability.

Our canopies feature six 17” x 36” windows for 360 degrees of panoramic views. There are two on each side and one on each end with sewn-in bug screens and zip-up fabric panels.

Features / Specs
  • 600D (denier) polyester canopy with an Oxford weave and a ripstop grid
  • Fully taped seams and a PU coating on the inside for complete waterproof construction
  • Fire-resistant treated fabric
  • Six 17" x 36" screened windows

Heating

Tune pop-up truck campers are built to be used in all four seasons. We offer a propane heating system and a removable insulation pack to keep you warm in the winter.

The Truma Varioheat Eco Heater provides quick and easy propane heat for your Tune camper. The compact, lightweight system mounts to the driver's side bulkhead of your vehicle and supports winter-based excursions up to 11,000 feet in elevation. Plus, the Truma Heater thermostat makes it easy to precisely set a temperature and timing. This allows for a lower temperature to be kept while you are out, easily heating the space quickly when you return.

Additional specs can be found here.

Please note: The Truma Heater is mounted in the front left (driver-side bulkhead) of the Tune camper. We do not support alternative heater placements or ports for other heating systems.‍

Features / Specs
Power Supply

Add reliable power to your Tune Outdoor truck bed camper with the Pecron E1500LFP. This battery has a relevant load capacity of 2200 watts and is fast-charging.

For typical camping use, including fan, heater, lighting, and charging personal devices, the Pecron E1500LFP can last up to 4 days when power is managed efficiently. For more detailed power draw specifications, visit Pecron's website.

Features / Specs
Roof Vent

Our MaxxAir Roof Vents disperse the air in your camper and keep it circulating. This helps prevent condensation buildup and ventilates your camper. If you plan to run a heater or cook inside, a fan is critical for safety and odor management. These fans can also be opened and operated during a rainstorm with no fear of getting wet, and some models can be left on while your truck is in motion.

Features / Specs
Roof and Bulkhead Panels

FRP (Fiber-reinforced polypropylene) panels make our truck campers' durable roofs and sleeping platforms. Their honeycomb, fiberglass design ensures they’re strong enough to withstand hail, insulate the roof, and hold up to 500 lbs when the Tune is closed.

Features / Specs
Shore Power

Shore Power allows you to run AC power to your camper through the passenger side bulkhead while the camper remains closed and locked. This upgrade is perfect for charging your battery at home or in a campground. It can be used to directly power high-demand appliances like hot plates, espresso makers, and space heaters at campgrounds. Shore Power can be convenient in a pinch or when you want to use more power.

Features / Specs
  • Power Output: Delivers up to 15A at 110-120V from any standard AC outlet.
  • Durable Design: Constructed with weather-resistant materials and a waterproof seal to ensure reliable performance in all conditions.
  • Flexible Cord: Includes a 16” cord inside the camper for easy setup and device connection/placement.
Solar

Our flexible ETFE solar panels fit the Tune M1 roof cleanly, connecting via standard MC4 and Anderson PowerPole connectors through our Solar Port (located on the back passenger corner of your Tune) to your power source. Built to withstand tough conditions, these panels offer durability and nearly double the lifespan of many commodity panels in the marketplace.

Please note: We offer 220-watt panels for mid-size trucks and 265-watt panels for full size trucks. These panels maximize the usable roof space while avoiding shade from a roof vent. Solar panels are not currently compatible with the Tune M1L.

Features / Specs
Tune M1 Sleeping

The Tune M1 comes standard with an approximate Queen Bed and East-West sleeping over the cab of your truck.

Features / Specs
Tune M1L Sleeping

The Tune M1L comes standard with a Queen Bed and North-South sleeping. A bed extension comes standard in all M1Ls and will need to be extended to set up your sleeping platform.

Features / Specs
  • Each of the longer, 8-foot sides has two awning doors, allowing you to open the front and back independently. Choose from aluminum or glass finishes to mix and match your configuration.
  • Our ⅛” thick aluminum Rear Barn Doors extend from the sides instead of the top, which allows you to stand up on your tailgate while the doors are open.
  • The Blackout Package is an aesthetic upgrade that replaces standard white FRP panels above and behind the cab of your truck with sleek, matte black FRP panels.
  • This option is only available before production and cannot be added later.
  • This cab access window fully folds down to allow for a larger pass-through to the cab. For 3rd generation Toyota Tundra owners or other trucks with the full roll-down back window option, this can be a helpful addition.
  • Please note: the Drop Down Cab Access Window does not work with the layout of our heater system or battery mount. About 20 inches are needed behind the window to allow it to fold down, and these options interfere with that space.
  • Total Window: 13.25" x 47"
    Middle Opening: 13.25" x 11.875"
  • If you have your own battery and want us to wire your lights, fan, and heater up to it, Custom Wiring is the option for you. We run extra wire from the lights, fan, and heater to the front passenger corner of your camper, add T-Track Covers to hide the wires, and provide the adapters needed to interface with nearly any 12v portable power system. If you plan on doing a DIY power system, we are able to run wires to the location you prefer, but Tune Outdoor will not hardwire into a fuse box.
  • In the extended Tune M1L configuration, there is a 57” over-cab length with an 18” sliding bed extension into the bed of your truck. The extra length over the cab allows for a shorter bed extension and more pass-through space in the bed of your truck while the bed extension is in use.

The multi-layer enhanced memory foam design provides optimal body alignment, pressure point relief, temperature control, and insulation value. The Hest mattress for the M1L is a tri-fold and has the ability to function like a couch when angled against the canopy.
  • Our custom Hest mattress Extension lies on the King-Size Extender and attaches to the Hest Dually Mattress (20” x 72” or 20” x 78”, depending on a mid-size or full-size truck).
  • For taller people or those who prefer more space, the King Extender modifies the sleeping space to support a longer vertical (north-south) layout.
It creates an approximate king-size sleeping space (mid-size: 72” x 80” and full-size: 78” x 80”).

If you like to sleep in or appreciate a light-free afternoon nap, this upgrade is for you!
